Today I have come up with the review of Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion. People with dry body skin like mine have to put on a layer of moisture irrespective of the time of the year.
Be it the hottest summer day or a chill filled day, body lotions are my all time companions. My body skin is not sensitive. I am at liberty to pick and choose among brands without thinking much about skin concerns like body acne. Vaseline, Dove and Parachute are my favourite in the body lotion category.
My skin loves the coconut cream enriched Parachute body lotions. This review is about the waterlily variant from Parachute’s wide body lotion collection. Here’s what I have to say about Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion.
About Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion
Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion is enriched with breakthrough coco lipid formula and rejuvenating water lily. It goes 10 layers deep in the skin to give you 2x glow so that your skin complements your trendy clothes and helps you look The best! It is very light, non-sticky and is clinical proven to give up to 10x moisturisation in just 1 week. It is suitable for all skin types.
Packaging: This body lotion comes in a white plastic bottle with pale blue flip-top cap. This Lotion also has a 400ml pack with pump dispenser. The shape of the bottle resembles of an abstract female figurine.
I love the unique shape of Parachute lotion bottles. Claims, usage guide and complete ingredient list along with other informative details are mentioned on the labels of the pack. You can easily carry the travel-safe bottle anywhere.
When the product reached just above the bottom on 400ml pump bottle, the pump fails to pick the product. You have to open up the mouth of the bottle and scoop up the product with a spoon.
This is quite messy at times. This does not happen in 250ml bottle as it does not have the pump.
Colour & Consistency: Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion is pure white in colour and its consistency is medium to thick. It is a purely vegan friendly body moisturizer. The formula is free from mineral oil but it paraben as preservative. The lotion is quite creamy and moisturizing. It is perfect for dry skin.
Fragrance: It has a nice floral fragrance. The soapy clean fragrance keeps me smelling fresh all day in sweat free winter days. The fragrance does not last that long on summer time though. If you like mild floral fragrances, do try this one.
Quantity & Price: This body lotion sells at Rs.199 for 250ml. The 400ml size costs Rs.299. It is a moderately priced body lotion among the commonly available budget-friendly body lotions. However, you’ll always see this product at lucrative discount offers online. This is the cheapest body lotion range during online festive sales.
My Overall Thoughts
I am on my third repurchase of Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion. I bought it for the first time when it was a new launch.
It performed great so I bought the big 400ml pump bottles two more times one after another. This time the 400ml bottle was out of stock so I had to buy the smaller pack.
As I mentioned earlier, my skin is of dry type. During summer I prefer non-sticky light body lotions. In winter I have to use body lotion or body butter with heavier formula.
This lotion fits into the moderate to heavy category. It is thicker than summer body lotions like Parachute Summer Fresh or Vaseline Aloe Fresh. But it is not as thick as the body butters.
Parachute Advanced Cocolipid Waterlily Body Lotion causes a sweaty feel on humid days. It is a great body moisturizer for winter time. I like to apply body moisturizers just after shower when my skin is slightly damp.
This way the skin remains moist for long. Apart from the presence of parabens, this is a good body lotion for dry skin.
